VISIKON

Through the online patient portal called My Treatment, Visikon enables patients to become self-confident and well-informed before and after an operation.

Visikon wanted to get help with how to optimize the implementation of the platform among the staff at a hospital.

We identified that the part of My Treatment that relates to rehabilitation at home was something both staff and patients experienced as a challenge. We identified a low degree of communication between staff at the hospital and patients after patients returned to their own home and were supposed to do their exercise alone. We also discovered a profound lack of motivation among patients to perform the exercises when being at home all by themselves.

Based on brainstorm and sketching sessions the concept, Fysikon, was created. The concept is thought as an application that improves communication and collaboration between the patient and the doctor.
